"...But the real cherry on top was when we joined a beach cleanup with Tidal team members. It was amazing to see firsthand the dedication and passion they bring to all aspects of their work, including making our community a better place. It's clear that Tidal Remodeling is more than just a home improvement company..."

BETTER TOMORROW

At Tidal Remodeling, we believe that true success is not just about business profits, but about making a positive impact in our community and the environment. You see, we believe that you're shaped by the company you keep, which is why we take pride in having the most dynamic and vibrant team in San Diego. How can we be so sure? It's simple – our team members are passionate about living life to the fullest! We're a diverse group of surfers, scuba divers, skydivers, and adventurers who all care deeply about reducing our impact on tomorrow. That's why we're committed to giving back and promoting sustainable living through a range of initiatives. (Photo: Our Co-Founder Tyler shark diving in the Bahamas)

PurposeFirst Beach Cleanups: Our team is proudly a part of PurposeFirst Beach cleanups, where once a month our team, members of the community, and hopefully YOU, gather to cleanup one of our beloved San Diego beaches. Beach cleanups take place the first Saturday of every month. Beach cleanups typically start around 5pm, but if you can arrive early enough, you and the family can participate in a locally sponsored beach yoga session to limber up. After our cleanup, we celebrate with whatever food local sponsors decide to take part, whether it's Acai from Mad Beet, or a delicious Poke bowl. To learn more about dates, times, and location check out their instagram @PurposeFirst.

Our Partnership with Only. One: Did you know our project advisors drive roughly 30,000 miles a year to visit customers all over San Diego? That's something we couldn't ignore when began searching for ways to offset our carbon footprint. Now, for every employee we hire we plant 200 Mangrove Trees in Kenya each year to offset our carbon emissions with the help of OnlyOne. As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, we took a look at how we could get homeowners involved in saving our oceans, while also offsetting the carbon emissions involved in bringing a home improvement project to life. Therefore, after every project completed, we plant an additional 100 trees in your name. The best part, you'll get a certificate telling you all the details about your contribution at projects end, including how many trees, who planted them, and where they're planted. It's really cool ;)

Giving back. We believe that giving back to our community is an essential part of who we are as a company. That's why we offer special discounts to those who serve our community, including veterans, nurses, teachers, firefighters, and local police. We know that these individuals play a critical role in making our community a better place to live, work, and raise a family. By offering these discounts, we hope to show our gratitude for their hard work and dedication to serving our community. It's just one small way that we can give back and make a positive impact on the world around us.

Shopping Local: Supporting local farmers and businesses is a great way to promote a more sustainable lifestyle. By purchasing locally grown produce and products, you can reduce your reliance on imported goods and promote a healthier you, and healthier environment. Did you know San Diego County has 5,100 local farms, 40% of which are woman producers? For a complete list of Farmers markets to support by you, check out the complete list here.

Creating Sustainable Homes: We're passionate about helping homeowners create sustainable, eco-friendly homes that not only save energy and reduce waste, but also provide a healthier and more comfortable living space for families. Maybe not all at once, but make a commitment to yourself and your family to install blown-in attic insulation, upgrade to energy efficient windows, replace grass with artificial turf to conserve water, and replace latex paint with a low VOC exterior coating. All of which we can help do, but don't want anyone to bite off more than they can chew. When it comes to our manufacturers, we've partnered with those that put the environment first.

Tex-Cote Coolwall is the most sustainable, eco-friendly paint manufacturer in the US, who have been recognized by countless organizations for their sustainability programs, including a Green Wise certification, The Environmental Stewardship Award, and The California Product Stewardship Council's Green Arrow Award.

GAF Roofing has received numerous awards and certifications for their commitment to sustainability, including the prestigious GreenCircle Certification for their shingle recycling program.

Anlin Windows & Doors have also been recognized for their commitment to sustainability. Recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for 8 consecutive years (2014-2021) and received the Sustained Excellence Award for 6 consecutive years (2016-2021).
